About

Having spent over half my life as an electrologist, I must say, I’ve had an interesting life because of it.  I’ve met the most amazing people and have visited some wonderful places.

This blog is to help consumers understand the business of electroepilation and to share information with electrology colleagues.  Please feel free to comment and share.

Hi, I just finished Cosmetology School but am looking for another way to enhance my income, so I found Electrology. I don’t know where to get the training to become licensed in KS. Would you please do me a favor and tell me if you know of any schools that will train me full time? Thanks for your reply in advance. I am impressed with your credentials and trust your professional opinion.

Kansas requires 500 hours of school training or 1000 hours of apprenticeship. All of the hours must be obtained IN the facility. At this time Kansas does not allow online hours or credit from other professions. Go to http://www.electrology.com and do a search for “schools” to see a list of well known schools. There are no schools in Kansas, and state laws make it difficult to apprentice.
